J-Bird Clay offers bright, colorful pottery, handmade in Chicago, IL.

Each piece is designed and crafted by Julie Panossian, who believes color has the ability to bring a little bursts of joy to everyday life. Everything is made with love in a shared community studio in West Town, where Julie can sometimes be found giving her pieces a smooch before sending them off to the kiln.

The name J-Bird Clay was inspired by "J-Bird," a nickname her adoring partner has for her.

Her work includes decorative pieces — hanging wall pockets, vases, and sculptural work — alongside functional tableware like bowls, cups, and mugs.

Every piece is food-safe, microwave-safe, and dishwasher-safe.
